This service covers against manufacturing defects for up to 3 years from date of purchase of the dehumidifier.
Does not cover accidental damage
Must be taken out within one year of purchase of the dehumidifier.
Only covers dehumidifiers being used in the Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
If you bought your dehumidifier on or after the 1st October 2011 then you can extend it's original 1 year parts and labour warranty for up to two years to provide 3 years of worry free dehumidification.
The warranty does not include accidental damage and we do ask that you keep the filter clean, if your dehumidifier is full of dirt then this invalidates your warranty.
The two things that are most likely to cause your dehumidifier to fail - one, not cleaning the filter and two, placing the dehumidifier too close to a wall so that the air inlet is blocked and not enough air is getting through the dehumidifier. If you keep an eye on these two things and the rest will be covered.
If you should have a problem then call Meaco customer service team on free call 0500 418458 with details of the fault. They will have to match your extended warranty purchase up with the original purchase of your dehumidifier. You will be asked to box your dehumidifier up, we will arrange for our courier to collect and then your dehumidifier will be serviced, bringing it up to current manufacturing specifications, then test it and return it to you. The process will take around 7 days.
